January 16, 2009

Hello, As the New Year takes shape, the Klinghardt Academy of Neurobiology is keeping you informed about our upcoming events.

Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, Ph.D. and the upcoming Chemical and Heavy Metal Toxicity 2009 Seminar at the end of February features 14 guest speakers in addition to Dr. Klinghardt. Our guest speakers are all experts in the field of Chemical and Heavy Metal Detoxification. Emphasis of the seminar is on diagnosis and treatment. The seminar is solution-oriented. What are the relevant diagnostic tests and strategies available to measure the body burden of chemicals and metals? Which detoxification strategies are safe, effective, reliable and affordable? What can we do to change and improve the future of our lives as we hope to live it? The 3-day conference will be held on February 27-March 1, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency, Bellevue (Seattle area). You may register on line at www.klinghardt.org or by calling . We encourage you to register as soon as possible. This is a 3-day seminar that is not to be missed. The packed schedule also includes an Autonomic Response Testing Fundamentals class taught by nna Rainville, RN at 9:00 AM Friday morning, February 27, and an Autonomic Response Testing demonstration conducted by Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, Ph.D. late Sunday afternoon, March 1.

Here is the Agenda for this 3-day event: Friday, February 27, 2009 1-3 PM: Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, Ph.D. - Dr Klinghardt was one of the first practitioners in the US to include aggressive detoxification in his medical treatment strategies. Today many studies point in the same direction: chemical and heavy metal toxicity is at the core of many medical issues (cancer, neurological illnesses, fatigue, MS and others). Dr. Klinghardt has pioneered many diagnostic and detoxification strategies and is considered one of the worldwide leading authorities in this rapidly advancing field. 3-4 PM: Quig, Ph.D., Doctor's Data. Toxic Metals: Rationale for Appropriate Lab Testing. This presentation will elucidate the basics of metal toxicology, and provide the clinician with important, relevant pharmacological factsabout DMPS, DMSA and Ca-Na2-EDTA. Safe and efficient metal detoxification requires optimal nutritional status. The importance of objective evaluations of renal and gastrointestinal function/integrity and nutritional status will be emphasized. 4-4:30: Break, Visit Exhibits 4:30-5:30: Vera Stejskal, Associated Professor Immunology, University of Stockholm, Sweden, 1st Medical Faculty, University, Prague, Czech Republic. Immunologic Effects of Mercury and Other Dental Metals. It is important to differentiate between metal allergy and metal toxicity. For example, hair analysis tests may show levels of mercury and other metals below the official "safe limit" - but the patient can still be highly allergic to the metal. For allergic individuals, there is no "safe limit. Even trace amounts of a substance pose danger if the substance triggers an allergic reaction. Long-term studies in metal-allergic patients indicate that anti-oxidant therapy combined with the reduction of metal body burden by replacement of allergenic dental metals with ceramic or composite materials favorably affected patient's health. The beneficial effects of this protocol have been demonstrated by down-regulation of metal-induced inflammation as measured by metal-specific lymphocyte responses in vitro. 5:30-6:30 PM: Gay Langham-McNally, CCN. The Aluminum Connection and The Role of Amorphous Aluminum Hydroxyphosphate Sulfate in Metabolic Dysregulation. This will include an examination of population epidemiological data as well as clinical studies showing evidence for mercury toxicity in such patients. Further, we will explore the role of testosterone and other androgens in autism spectrum and other neuro-developmental disorders. Finally, we will discuss the role of anti-androgen therapy as a highly successful treatment strategy for autism spectrum and other neuro-developmental disorders. 12:30-1:00 PM: nna Rainville, RN, LMP, Seattle, WA. This is a 3-hour class designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of ART. Class cost is $150. Class is taught by nna Rainville, RN.

ART is different from other forms of muscle testing in that it uses the latest findings of quantum and biophotonic physics to aid in the assessment of the body. This allows for a much deeper level of testing not available before to traditional kinesiologists. Tools such as a polarization filter and signal enhancers are used to get stronger, clearer feedback from the body. ART often finds things that are missed with traditional kinesiology. ART practitioners in general also have the ability to test for a wider variety of root causes of illness, including specific infections, toxins, and emotional disturbances. ART is used along with traditional tests to determine the root causes of illness. It is not used to diagnose diseases. ART has been shown to be the most accurate of all kinesiology techniques, with the best reproducibility and inter-examiner reliability.

This is an opportunity that is not to be missed. Fee for the week is $1500, with an early bird special (before April 15) of $1350. The fee does not include room and board. We are renting a big house with space to stay for the first five practitioners who sign up. Others will be able to stay in facilities nearby. If you are interested in attending, please contact me at eveacademy@... or by calling . Space is filling. Since only 25 practitioners may attend, this retreat will fill quickly.

Neural Therapy A and Neural Therapy B in 2009 Neural Therapy Awill be held in 2009 from April 16-17, 2009 (ends at noon), right before Neural Therapy B, which will be held on April 17-19, 2009 (starts at 1 PM). Limin,

I'm sorry I do not know. This has a really good line up that would

be a good one to get. Can someone contact Eve @ Klinghardt Academy

of Neurobiology, her number at the bottom is (I'm

sorry I'm not able to myself, I'm working on an extra project right

now and don't have time to check on it).

If someone checks on this or is planning on attending, let us know.

> Fundamentals of Autonomic Response Testing

>

> Have you wondered what Autonomic Response

Testing was about? This is a 3-hour class designed to introduce you

to the fundamentals of ART. Class cost is $150. Class is taught by

nna Rainville, RN.

>

> ART is different from other forms of muscle

testing in that it uses the latest findings of quantum and

biophotonic physics to aid in the assessment of the body. This

allows for a much deeper level of testing not available before to

traditional kinesiologists. Tools such as a polarization filter and

signal enhancers are used to get stronger, clearer feedback from the

body. ART often finds things that are missed with traditional

kinesiology. ART practitioners in general also have the ability to

test for a wider variety of root causes of illness, including

specific infections, toxins, and emotional disturbances. ART is used

along with traditional tests to determine the root causes of

illness. It is not used to diagnose diseases. ART has been shown to

be the most accurate of all kinesiology techniques, with the best

reproducibility and inter-examiner reliability.
