Guest guest Posted September 7, 2010 Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 Hi Everyone. My husband just got a job that has health insurance. Hooray! I have a few questions. The insurance company is Blue Cross Blue Shield. he told me that there is a pre existing waiver. What does that waiver mean? What are the laws requiring health insurance companies to cover for children with autism? I am so confused with these laws because they are so vague. Is there a certain amount they will cover or do they have to cover everything? Any help or experience with this is greatly appreciated.
