Guest guest
Hi all, it's 5:45 PM here and I just now finished my workout. I slept in until 8:00 this morning and then I watched a netflix movie so that I could get it in the mail before noon when the mail goes out from the post office, then I ate breakfast then I previewed the new Jari workout, then I took a nap already, then I got up ate lunch, then I watched another movie, then I decided I better get my butt moving if I want to get into the 140's for weigh in on Tuesday. So I finally got around to actually doing the newest Jari Love workout Extremely Ripped Boot Camp. I absolutely love Jari workouts, she is one of my faves, but I must confess this one was a toughie for me. The others don't have all the cardio intervals that this one has and that is what made it hard for me. During these intervals Jari does a certain thing for 3 minutes like ski mogul thingys, or jogging, or jump rope or whatever, but there is also the option to use a cardio machine such as a treadmill or exercise bike if you want to. During the first 3 cardio section I thought the bike thing looked odd and kind of like cheating, but by the fourth interval I was wiped out and jumped my butt on my exercise bike too, LOL, but on the last interval I came back and did the jogging. The cardio portions are spaced in between with other things such as shoulder pushups, lots and lots of lunges and squats, weights, etc. I did take it easy on the squats and lunges this week as I didn't want to burn my butt up like I did last week and be down for days. The workout is 60 minutes altogether with the option to do it as 2 30 minute workouts or 6 10 minute workouts, I don't know how that one works yet as I didn't look at that option, I just did the whole 60 minutes. I really do love this workout even though it was harder than the others, many modification are given so that made it easier. I liked the music in this one. Okay, I still really love Jari's workouts. in CA
