Guest guest
I really like the recumbent bike because it doesn't mess with Fussy Hip or Wonky Knee! Good job, , getting it done! Hope your teeth are at 100% soon! I’ve been sidelined with teeth issues, but I’m finally feeling better. I did the strength stretch from the 15 min Stretching Workout dvd. The ones that were done in plie position were difficult for me, but didn’t last long. I didn’t think it was all that ‘strengthy’ overeall, but still a fair stretch. After lunch I spent 15 mins on the recumbent bike – not a very high resistance or very fast, but enough that my legs were a bit wobbly when I was done. Add me to the group that enjoys some mindless cardio. :- ) in crisp, sunny Sask
Guest guest
I'd like to get me a recumbent bike. The regular saddles give me saddle sores! :-( And my back doesn't like the leaning over.. Guest guest
My back doesn’t like the leaning over, either. The normal bikes are so much less expensive, but the recumbent is totally worth every penny. Teeth problems improving and should be fixed entirely next week – thanks, . Guest guest
Hi , Sorry to hear about the teeth issues - I have to go to the dentist next month and I'm dreading it - I never get good news and I really do brush, floss and rinse regularly. I even went out and spent a small fortune on the Sonic Care toothbrush! GRR!I do love mindless cardio - I actually hopped on the TM this afternoon for 30 min to perk up!Donna To: exercisevideos Sent: Tue, March 8, 2011 4:24:13 PMSubject: today's workout I’ve been sidelined with teeth issues, but I’m finally feeling better. Guest guest
Thanks, and Donna. I hope your appt next month is better than you expect, Donna. Good thinking to use the tm to perk up! Today I did the abs section from The Method Target Pilates (something like that). There’s 4 different 15-minute work outs on the disc. It was odd to begin with, then I figured out it was the warm-up – no wonder I didn’t recognize the moves or think they were ab-specific! Different, flowing movements, that actually I enjoyed, once I got into it. Definitely felt the workout at the time and now, in both my abs and legs; had to ice my hips afterward, so obviously I was working more than just my abs.  Then in the afternoon I used the bike for 10 mins. Not going to worry about doing anything tomorrow – I’m volunteering for an hour in the library, and that’s a work out in itself! Last week my legs had doms for 3 days afterward – I’m constantly moving, and squatting and reaching overhead. I think it’s the squats that do me in.From: exercisevideos [mailto:exercisevideos ] On Behalf Of Donna M-PHi ,Sorry to hear about the teeth issues - I have to go to the dentist next month and I'm dreading it - I never get good news and I really do brush, floss and rinse regularly.
