Guest guest
Yes I think its good - no matter what comes out of it - I have done two mothers days and now this will be my second Christmas. I have gotten much much more busier, not sure if is at all from the cards, but it could have helped. I also send to doctors both ob's and peds. I think the more they see your name - whether it is the actual doctor or the office staff the better. I am even thinking about doing a cookie tray for a few of the doctors I have worked with often as a thank you. I have found that the more I put my name out there the better. I have a great relationship with a wonderful childbirth educator also, she puts all my cards and brochures in her parents packages. I truly think that anything you do to advertise your business helps - I do free seminars at the baby stores here as well as for midwives in the area. If it feels like a good idea - go with it !!! Guest guest
In case anyone has not seen the notecards of Bfing moms and babies offered for sale by the San Diego Breastfeeding Coalition, I thought I would send you to their website: http://www.breastfeeding.org/info/notecards.html Here are pictures of the notecards that sell for $11.00 and contain 12 notecards and envelopes. This benefits the work of the SDCBC and is greatly appreciated. Ann Note cards are blank inside with warm and sensitive depictions of mothers and babies breastfeeding on the front. One package includes: 3 cards each of 4 different dyads A total of 12 cards and 12 envelopes $11.00 per pack (includes tax). Click here for an order form (pdf file). Guest guest
I too got a few cards from moms and a few phone calls - I also received a few consult referrals from doctors offices that I sent my business card along with the holdiay card. I paid someone $40 to do the list and she did everything but the stamps ( My 6 yr old did that) - I just was not happy with the turn around - I would have liked them back sooner. Otherwise I will do it every year along with my "Mothers Day" postcards. Those I get from Vistaprint as well.
