Guest guest
Hi, everyone, The CIH came back today to finish up clearance testing of our remediated house. I asked him why the neg. air machines in the house had not been vented to the outside. He said that they are vented outside only when there is asbestos in the air.He said that if you vent it outside when there is mold, then you end up pulling air thru the wall sockets etc. (which is, evidently, not desirable). Just wondered if his explanation falls within standard procedures. Thanks, Jocelyn in AR PS He still has the same sinus infection he had in December. Seems to me that standing around in dusty, moldy houses would promote a chronic sinus infection. Yet, he declined my offer of a respirator. Go figure!
