Guest guest
Not butting in at all, I need all the info I can get, now I am 0 blood type, I find this interesting that it makes any difference, but when you think about it makes sense, I am just rather lost regarding the whole damned condition. another thing, how on earth can my doctor make a statement that he feels this condition will NOT debilitate me?? I have other issues besides this, heart, rheumatic fever twice and left me with a problem there and cronic depression, he feels that will be more debilitating to me than MS,,,grr, all so unclear to me. This list is all I have that seems to have any direction or answers. So if anyone wants to jump in please do. I am confused about alot of things. Any imput you all give is invaluable, you are good folks.Too much weirdness going on in this body right now, was also concidering a good fast but hell i take so many meds. It is just a matter of doing the detective work to find out what causes the problem for each of us. I also loved cheese, but found that it was not good for me. I have been off it now for over a year (with a few exceptions) and have to say that for the most part I don't even miss it. And I LOVED cheese! I guess what I am trying to say is that changing your diet is a lot easier than you might think. Margie >> Margie, I have found that to be true also. It is seldom that I miss any of the foods I've given up. I think sugery things are the most apt to bother me, like cherry pie! Carol
Guest guest
Dear ELAINE, I WONDER IF YOU HAVE LOOKEDat thr 'Swank Diet?'-nay be suitable for you , I AM TYPE B, the info can be obtained by entering 'Swank Diet in Multiple Sclerosis' to your 'Search ENGINE Swank Diet not suitable for moi because it contains Chicken, but it is supposed to help arrest the symptoms. after 12 months on the ER4YT diet-I FEEL A LOT Better' On the subject of fasting,A BOOK CALLED' Not all in the Mind'by Dr R.MACKARNESS Pan Books, now probably only available through a book-finding service, says that fasting is not a do-it-yourself treatment, as itcan throw up distressing symptoms. He does suggest one way to test foods withouta total fast. Eliminate one of the suspect foods for 4 days. IF the symptoms reappear after the food is intrroduced, then it must be one that you should avoid. BE WARNED THAT A SEVERE REACTION MAY OCCUR!! [i find that if my symptoms disapppear the food is best avoided anyway!
