Teacher aide update

Hi Everyone.

I want to thank everyone who answered my post about the aide. I am still upset.

I talked to the principal today and it did not go well. He told me he spoke to

the other aide's that were out there and none of them saw what I said I saw.

They said they saw run away from the aide. I told him I saw my

daughter run to the middle of the playground. That is when the aide did that.

I kind of understand that since he did not see it he can't take sides, but he

made me feel like he didn't believe me. I know what I saw. I am going to write

to special services and the Board of ed. I want to have this documented. I

also called someone who is a disabilities consultant in town. She just so

happens to be my guidance councelor from High School.

Tomorrow I am going to the school for Parent visitation day and I volunteered

for the book fair they are having.

I am also friendly with my son's 5th grade teacher from last year and I was

talking to him tonight and he told me this woman subbed for his class and the

kids told him she was mean and she yelled alot. These are 5th graders so they

can tell someone what happens. My daughter cannot communicate if someone does

something to her.

When I told the principal that my older daughter and her friends have seen her

being rough with , he said that sometimes kids will tell parents what

they want to hear.
