From pt intake form; pt suffered heart attack; antecedents: bladder cancer. Hi , I generally translate Tractus anamnese as 'review of systems'(ROS). Kind regards, Daphne (Medical translator Dutch-English) P.S. Hope this doesn't arrive too late as I get the daily digest and Yahoo has been somewhat erratic this last few days. Guest guest
Well, please authorize the Moderator of this list to remind you that, when asking a question, you MUST indicate at first the pair of languages this way (e.g. EN>ES), then indicate the term you are looking for, if you want to obtain QUICK and valuable and helpful responses (e.g. EN>ES stroke) Rasmussen was perfectly right when he was asking for more context. This said, I'm sure that Rob is right. Even if I don't speak the first word of DU, I've immediately been 'medically " convinced that ths was the right answer. Of course a bit of Latin and Greek knowledge might have helped me :-))) In French, it's " anamnèse " , with a " accent grave " on the " e " = history, medical history, etc. " Tract " being just a way of meaning " body " in the French sense of " the whole body = l'organisme " . If you need more details about the way(s) to use our list, please don't hesitate to re-read the FAQs you received when you subscibed. As indicated in the welcome mesage to new subscribers, you'll find them here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/medical_translation/files/M_T-FAQS.doc Have a nice day, and Merry Christmas !!
