Guest guest
I am part of an international NLP group.. and one of the posts recently really resonated with me... As I think back through my journey with DD.. the biggest gains always happen..... When I accept her, see her as perfect and doing the very best that she can at that time So this message...really made a lot of sense I KNOW for a fact (know as in its my map, my halucination, my belief) that every child who walks through my door is perfect. (Its the biggest difference between what I do and what every other teacher, counselor and therapist do). THEY keep trying to FIX these kids. I know there's nothing to fix. They're perfect. Different, yes. But absolutely perfect. Everything I do with my students starts from there. The gentleman who wrote this is an NLP therapist in America who specializes in working with kids and teens and adults with ASD, OCD and ADHD.. and it makes perfect sense... IF A CHILD IS CONSTANTLY BEEN TREATED AS IF THEY ARE BROKEN WHAT HAVE THEY GOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO? Traceyx
