My only question was that just because binnen- is usually directly translated as " internal " doesn't mean that that is the translation in this particular case. But it does seem to be. Ken Can anyone tell me what a Binnenecho is in English? The context is a case history: Sonographisch zeigte die Leber ein sehr inhomogenes Binnenecho mit nicht ganz glatter Oberflaeche... Here's the English gist: " Binnenecho " of the liver is another expression for a sonographic exam. " Inhomogenes Binnenecho " means that the sonographic exam shows that the liver tissue of the examined liver displays deviations compared to a healthy liver tissue.
