Day 12 into MB12 spray: Update

We have been in MB12 spray for 12 days. (Started on Jan 18).

We'd seen a few very nice moments since then, these happened in first

week. One day night was running through the hall way and he

stopped there, turned to me and asked 'Daddy!' with a big smile and

steady looking, and only turned away after I answered. Another day he

gave Mom a big hug and kiss and kept saying `Mom' when she cuddled him.

The most impressed one was at one night, his old sister was playing

hide & seek with him, when she called him and emerged from the hidden

place, he was laughing, smiling and looking at her, full of

anticipation and joyfulness. This kind looking is not well seen from

autistic individuals. It's just like a sparking strikes through the

deep dark sky.

We haven't seen these kind of moments again in this week, a bit of

disappointing. I don't know if these nice gains would sustain. Besides

these, we feel that his language is coming back, though in an extreme

slow rate. Maybe it's too early to tell. Keep figures crossed.

On other side, the stimming is increased a lot: touching everything,

putting things in order, closing all opened doors, dropping things and

other visual stimms. Sometimes becomes very moody. I'm not sure if the

stim and moodiness could caused by the folinic acid. The prescription

we got is the combined mb12 and folinic. Should I try the one without

folinic?

He also has intensified itchy skin, and the skin in palms become crack

and coarse. We give CLO, MutltiVitamins, minerals, what else we're

missing?

With good wishes to all of you.

Itchy skin and cracked palms as a combined symptoms sound like some type of

excretion

to me. We do know that the hands and feet seem to excrete the most mercury. I

see a lot

of gut impaired children with thick skin on their hands, so you may want to look

closely at

your child's diet and gut condition.

Besides that, doing a trial without folinic may be a good thing and also

considering

lessening the dosage. It could be as simple as you are giving too much. You

should

always be looking for the " right " dosage.

Lastly, Dr. Neubrander also published a list of vitamins and supplments that

help the

methylation process. It's in the Files section of the group. You can download

it and print

it or you can go to Dr. Neubrander's site and find it there as well.
