Guest guest
Wow, Dr. McCandless I'm so thankful you're open minded! I'm considering starting raw milk for my daughters. Dr. Rimland mentioned one time, that he often wondered (and wished the research had been done) on the difference in the proteins of milk from different animals. I believe he knew of one child that did fine on reindeer milk, but poorly when they returned to the US and used cow's milk. I hope that testing will be done!! Especially if raw milk is healing. Becky Raw Milk Peg: Even though I am not conversant with the raw milk material, I also am for anything that works! Actually, we had a cow always when I was growing up, and raw milk straight from the source until I was 13 may be one reason why I'm very healthy today (and I still like milk!). It is sad that most of our kids are highly sensitive to milk, and that raw milk is hard to get. I hear of the benefits; do you know any of the science about what happens to casein in pasteurized vs raw milk? Since on his Immunosciences antibody studies Mit showed antibodies to casein for IgG, IgM, and IgA, it might make autism treatment history if this works for him, and Dr. Vojdani might be willing to look into the pasteurization process and see if that changes the protein in some way where the antibodies would not be there with raw milk. If you're willing, it would be good to repeat this test after he is on this for awhile if it continues working successfully to see if it changes. Good luck and I hope the improvements continue.
