My son was using DMSA and later started Valtrex, had severe regression, stopped everything but thinking it was the DMSA. After learning more about Valtrex from this group, I am thinking that it was due to Valtrex...got a fever blister, inattentive, spacey, etc. He returned to his normal self about 14 days later (after stopping all supps), did amazing for the next 5-7 days, now he is not doing as well again (regression is not normal for us)...and we haven't even restarted all of his supplements again...right now just the basics: B-vitamin, CLO, folinic, MB12, dig. enzymes, Magnesium, probiotics. I guess my question is if this could still be due to the Valtrex even though we haven't restarted? Stan also mentioned in another post that children's regression usually stop with time or after stopping Valtrex. Just looking for others with suggestions or the same experience.
