Guest guest
Angie, I just came up with a great explanation on how my burning feet feel, when I talked to the reporter last week. I said, " Consider you're going to the beach on a 95 degree day. You park your car on the street, take off your shoes, and run fast to the water because that sand is hot " . Then I said " my feet feel that way (burning sand) sometimes when I'm doing nothing, or when I'm in the pool, or when I'm grocery shopping " . She had this " AHA " look on her face and seemed to understand. Told her I actually use cold packs on my feet, stand on the tile, lol, in Wyoming, I'd go out barefoot in the snow for a few secs. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Oh my! I feel so bad that I even asked this question. I have nothing close to that type of pain. That is why I called my pain " bee stings " . The pain I have upon standing feels more like bone pain or something stretching beyond it's limit. Could that be?? I am not to the point of walking on my toes like some people say, but is it possible that is what I am looking at in the future? When did this type of burning begin with you? I am so glad that you have this going. I read often, just never post. Thanks for all the support! btw, my 2 children(13 and 7 years) are CMT1A like myself(37). Guest guest
Angie, Don't know about the " bee stings " pain, but am guessing it is nerves misfiring in some way. I've had 'burning feet' since I was 7. At least that's as far back as my memory on this issue goes. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Aw yes, I have had bee stings, ant bites , a million ants biting me at once and the burning itching.
Guest guest
WOW! So many different types of pain! Thanks to everyone that replied. My daughter is almost 14 and her pain is even different than mine. She complains of cramping more than anything else. ly, I don't know what type of pain I would choose (if I could choose). Like I would really choose to have pain, right. Angie
Guest guest
Angie, I have cramping pain in my feet when I over do it. That's because the muscles pulling my feet in and under are so strong while the ones pulling my feet out are much weaker. Always glad to share.
