Guest guest
Betty, Ambrotose is glyconutrients (good sugars...they are actually bitter..just like good fats/bad fats there are good sugars/bad sugars). It is considered a whole food. Our first doctor put him on them and I researched them a lot 4 years ago..I have some amazing stories on them. has always tested very strong on them...Dr. Derksen commented when she had me upping them again last visit that a lot of our kids test strong with them. Ambrotose is purchased through a network marketing thing so they can tend to get a bad rap from many doctors, but Dr. Klinghardt/Derksen have it listed under immune support in their protocol on Defeat Autism Yesterday: http://www.defeatautismyesterday.com/drKandAautismprotocol.htm One of the things Glyconutrients do is increase the fibers that surround cells so as the cells bump into each other they " communicate " better...cell's a bad cell/good cell/cell that needs help. So as you increase the cellular communication, the body will help itself heal. There have been many reports over the years, both on Chelatingkids2 and on commercial websites about them reducing seizures and helping with other things. The final research that I did on these lead me to a booklet " The Gift of " which has a story and pictures of a Down Syndrom girl that was helped tremendously by them including pictures of her loosing the facial " downs " look. I have loaned the booklet out so much...it never came back one time. I don't sell the stuff, I'm signed up just to get a better price...although lately to save money I group order from someone we found on e-bay. We just use her without going through e-bay to save us all money. I have used other brands, but his body always ART tests best with the Ambrotose. The biggest drawback is the cost. Bulk ordering 3 at a time through our e-bay contact our group is getting it for $306 for 3 bottles total which is now substantially less than I got it when ordering for myself as a distributer...so I haven't ordered under my distributership for about a year. Be careful if your ordering it to get the " New and Improved " Advanced Ambrotose so it's Gluten free. As far as dosage, Dr. Amy regulates that and it very much changes depending on what his body is fighting. It fluctuates from 1-4 scoops a day. When he's starting to get symptoms of being sick...the dose goes up...automatically. If he's going through fighting off die off or chelation it goes up...automatically. I've been slammed in other groups for posting about Ambrotose because of the network marketing side of it...but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater....do your research instead. Google Ambrotose Glyconutrients and things like Ambrotose seizures. Just a note: Ambrotose is not my cure-all...nothing has been my cure-all...so anyone that says anything " cures " autism all by itself I would personnaly question. But used in conjunction with the rest of my protocol, it's been a true and faithful help.
