Vitamin C NOT for Type 2

and others with Type 2,

To date, there is no research on either human or animal studies that

confirm Vitamin C will help Type 2. The only research is on CMT 1A,

and much research is ongoing. 1A is the most common subtype of CMT. About 70% of

people with CMT have CMT 1A.

I have Type 2 CMT & do take Vit. C on the advice of my neurologist. I'm

not taking it for the benefits CMT Type 1 may get tho. He was worried I

might not be getting enough daily. I only take 500mg twice a day. Added

bonus, I haven't had a cold in a couple years. He is the best I've had

up until now even tho he mostly works with children.
