Guest guest
I've started having trouble walking. It's been getting worse all summer. Can't seem to pick up my feet even with my AFOs and knee braces on. The more I wear the braces the weaker my legs become and they are starting not to help anyway. I don't want to use a wheelchair but leaning on a grocery cart at the store helps a lot. What are some of the options out there after AFOs? I'm leaning on my husband so much when we go for our evening walks it's starting to hurt him & he's a muscular guy. HA! HA! I don't think a cane would help. Maybe a walker on wheels...does anyone else use one of those? I'm going to see my doc in a few weeks at the MDA & was wondering what he might suggest or what I might suggest to him? Oh and yes I'm exercising & in physical therapy too. Thanks for listening. Winndy in Indy
