Guest guest
Hi Stan and others, I posted about a high-functioning little boy who has been chewing up a few pencils a day Well, he is on Adderall at 10mg in the morning and 10 at night and he started mb12 a week ago today (thursday). He takes Supernuthera in the morning and also began taking zinc about 50mg though he weighs 50lbs so he should be taking 20-25mg more, right?..Mom wanted to start slow. So, my question is about the Adderall. His mom reports that he seems more aware of his surroundings since starting the nasal-mb12, and I have noticed more social interest - intiating interactions and keeping his head up, not looking down..AND..independently deciding to play hockey with all the other kids!! That was cool! He speaks more confidently and his thoughts seem more clear but that has been improving since going gf/cf in January. However, his teachers are reporting that he is less focused in class and is chewing on his pencils and is easily distracted. Another thing that his mother is concerned about to is his handwriting. Since lowering the dose of Adderall from 30mg in the morning to 10 his handwriting has gotten pretty poor...and since the Adderall was changed at that time, his teachers are pressuring his mom to put it back up. She told them she wants to give the mb12 a month before she makes that decision. So, Stan you used Adderall, right? I was wondering what interaction, if any, Adderall could have with nmb12. Or what thoughts you have about the trial of Mb12 while still on Adderall...And any thoughts about the handwriting issue... Thank you for any thoughts or advice. I appreciate you guys sharing all your information so much!! And Stan, you are so wonderful! Thank you! God Bless, : )
