I read, a long time ago, that using chlorine to wash milk containers is ok

because as soon as any residual chlorine contacts the milk it turns into

calcium chloride, I believe, which is non-toxic. Anyone else ever hear of

that?

Prescribed sanitation is 1 T chlorine bleach (Clorox to be exact because of the)certification that it has) to 1 gallon of water. Residual is miniscule. That 1 T to 1gallon water gives the correct ppm for commercial sanitizing.

Plastic milk jugs are not made to be used more than once for commercial purposes. Cleaning them with peroxide does what? Where is the soap need to remove the milkstone? How about acid washing? They will stand up to the dishwasher though..

I remember reading that milk should not be put in clear glass containers, it causes the milk to break down...

all containers should be sanitized prior to filling with milk.
