My name is English and I live in Alpharetta, Ga - about 20 miles north of Atlanta. My email address is eenglish2004@... and I am really looking forward to joining this group. Looks like there is a lot of activity on it - great! Unfortunately, raw dairy is illegal in Ga (except cheese of course), but I think it may be okay to sell on farms for pet consumption, although I am not completely sure. I read Nourishing Traditions a few months ago and recently became a raw milk consumer. What a book! I always thought I ate " healthy " , but I had been fooled by the latest diet trends (low carb, low fat, etc). This time last year you would probably have found me drinking soy milk and eating Veggie Shreds soy cheese (lots of it!) I am anxious to learn more about the many health benefits of raw milk so that I can share my knowledge with friends and family. I have already started talking to my parents about it and they have been very receptive. They live in South Carolina and mentioned the other day that they might be interested in finding a source for raw milk (yea!). I think SC's laws are a little less restrictive, so they may be able to find it easier than I can. Thanks in advance for allowing me to be part of the group!
