Guest guest
where in MA do you live? Weare in Foxboro, have a nine yr old daughter with OCD, just recently diagnosed. would love to get together... OCD is back! Hi all, Not sure if anyone remembers me. I have a 3 1/2 yo dd who has ocd which started around the time we were expecting our 2nd child. It lasted for about 2 mos. before dd's birth and went away for 4 mos., but has reared its ugly head once again. Was hoping it was gone for good, of course or at least until puberty. We are doing repeating behavior again, but now that I know what to look for I'm already helping her (trying to help her) to get " brain trick " to go away. She's very smart for her age and understands even tho she tells me " it's really hard " . Just wanted to say hello as I'll be on the boards again. Guest guest
Hi , Sorry to here that the evil Brain Trick has returned. I remember when we last talked you were looking for a therapist in your area. Did you have any luck in finding one? Hope all is well with the new baby. Guest guest
Yes, we saw one in Norwood, but since things stopped (total 360) we didn't go back. Actually, had a 2nd appointment, but went into labor that day. Thanks for asking .. Cristina Re: OCD is back! Hi , Sorry to here that the evil Brain Trick has returned. Guest guest
Hi , I'm in North Attleboro and would love to join you and Cristina if you get together! My son with OCD and Social Anxiety Disorder just turned 11 and is doing well with little to no OC behaviors for two years now. Perhaps we could start an informal Southeastern MA support and information sharing group. Feel free to write me off list if you'd like. in MA > where in MA do you live?
