It was only when we stopped mixing carbs and animal protein that Tash stopped binging and began to slim down... sometimes the discomfort from eating is mistaken for hunger pains... I would see if you can separate the protein from the carbs.. it may stop the binging Tracey Eating good fats, and lots of , is considered vital on the GAPS/Weston Price etc type diets. There are books like "Eat fat to lose fat" etc which explain it better. You feel more full up too . I think you wrote before that the dietitian has recommended a gfcf diet for your son so maybe she is asking you to give him some gfcf foods in addition to his regular diet. Processed carbs eg bread/rice cakes /biscuits were what my son craved too , the only answer was to go GAPS/SCD and have stuff he couldn't have under lock and key or not have it in the house at all. BW Nina > PS If I cook steak or chops I cut off the fat before serving the meat and then I must throw away the fat in the bin, hiding it under some rubbish, otherwise H will sneak into the kitchen and eat the lumps of fat from the frying pan.
