Guest guest
Hi All, For the past few months I have been concidering doing a behaviour study on mds. I know that I personally have many behaviour issues with Tim, and I have found from speaking with others that I am not alone in this venture. And with the recent behaviour posts, I can see a strong need for this study. I do believe that people with mds definately have different behaviour patterns than people without mds. I know that one big problem I have with Tim is that he does not understand that his actions will have consequences. I have a real problem explaining this to his school, they just don't understand. I hope that by doing this study, that we all can have some sort of written out comparisons of our kids behaviours and we all will be able to understand and deal with it a little better. If you are interested in being included in this study please send all the following to mdsbehaviour@... I would like the following: Your name and your child's name Your age and your child's age Where you live All behaviour issues that you have with your child. (even if you believe this is just a normal thing for your child's age) Disaplines that you have tried What has worked What has not worked It will take me a while to compile all of the info for this, but I do promise when I am through, I will let everyone know. Thank You! ===== Kristy Colvin:President: IMDSA (mom to Arron 20, 16, Tim 15(mds), Stevan 14, and Garrett 5.)
