Guest guest
A friend has been using the sheet for a month now and swears she is sleeping better.I have just bought one but haven't used it yet . I want to try it on myself before trying it on ds. Will let you know how it goes.... Nina > > I'm looking into earthing at the moment, http://www.earthing.com/. I wondered if anyone has tried an earthing bed pad or earthing sheets and could tell me what they thought about them? > Thank you, > >
Guest guest
Does this deal with emfs(electrical magnetic fields) from mobiles, electric appliances etc? or does it do something else? Would be useful if it stopped bedsprings acting as an aerial, maybe? Margaret > > > > I'm looking into earthing at the moment, http://www.earthing.com/. Guest guest
yes....The book " Earthing' by Clint Ober,S Sinatra and M Zucker explains it all. One of the experiments Ober carried out showed that the highest level of EMF voltage on his body was when he was in his bedroom. ie that was the most electrically active area .The bed was up against a wall full of hidden electrical wires and he wondered if this was affecting his ability to fall asleep etc.The only appliances that did not create EMF voltage were the fridge and his computer tower as these were grounded. The testimonials talk about better sleep , reduction in chronic pains ( something about Earth's healing energy ie free electrons vs inflammation.....I don't understand it fully yet. Everyone knows about sunshine/Vit D etc and this is another piece of the puzzle ,they recommend just walking barefoot in your back garden daily for 15mins to get that sense of well being.......interesting stuff Nina > > > > > > I'm looking into earthing at the moment, http://www.earthing.com/. Guest guest
This is really interesting and I hope to try and check it out. The website where the products are being sold is sadly vague. I can't turn off the electricity upstairs at night because I have to keep medical appliances plugged in by my bed, also Henry has a (non-digital!) baby monitor plugged in case he has a seizure. He also has an epilepsy alarm which should go under his mattress and which would need to be plugged into the mains - haven't got round to fitting it yet. (And,no, batteries are not an option.) Guest guest
I looked into grounding a while ago and decided not to do it without mesuring the curent field first. There is an interesting paper on in from Germany which makes a lot of sense: http://www.buildingbiology.ca/pdf/ACHTUNG_ABSCHIRMDECKE.pdf
