Guest guest
Ds has been taking omnicef for a month now. There are some very minor changes I have seen and I don't know if it's relevant or not. I also didn't know if I would say it's herxing. Since he started the atbx, he's slept up to 30 minutes later in the am, and has not woken up so " amped up " . I've also noticed that he is talking back more. Usually he would have a non verbal tantrum which was mostly whining, kicking, stomping, screaming. Now, he actually says something, sarcastically. I don't condone talking back, but it's so different than how he used to react, that it feels like he's more " there " . Now, I have also noticed that when he does have his tantrums, he is louder and the tantrum is more exaggerated. He has also been saying " I love you. " and giving more affection. His MRI was clear, regular bloodwork was OK, and at our visit with Dr. G last week, he said to continue the omnicef. What do you all think?
