Guest guest
Thanks for the words of experience, Donna, I'm keeping it on my list for now! Spreen Kickbox Bootcamp I didn't put a lot into this but still got a lot out (I'm tired and my car is very cranky and needs to be replaced so now I'm cranky/depressed). is fun, easy to work out with, like a friend. The workout uses a step, body bar and hand weights. She never says how much weight though except asks one of the two backgrounders how her "heavy" bar is working for her. I used my 8 lb. FIRM sculpting stick and 3 lb. hand weights and they seemed to work for me today. She keeps things moving constantly but I still had a hard time keeping myself in my zone, probably my problem not hers. It is always changing but not in abrupt, huh? what are we doing now? kinds of ways. She cues extremely well. The moves are mostly just simple and athletic, not much in the way of choreography. Even the punching drills were easy to follow. It is a nice mix of cardio, core, some strength, balance and flexibility training, mostly cardio though and definitely not AWT like the FIRM but just a very good workout. I've been thinking about doing it a lot lately and didn't want to earlier in the week because it is an hour long but I had the time today so I just said, what the heck, let's go. I'm glad I did it.
