Guest guest
Great job ! Are you following the S90D plan or just doing one workout a day until you've done all of them? I ordered this set and should get it soon. I'm VERY disappointed that these workouts are 50 minutes long because I really don't care for long workouts when I'm trying to walk an hour a day (30 minutes each walk.) I hope that these workouts aren't too above my level where I just want to quit. I thought someone here said these workouts were 30 minutes each...?Disappointed, JenSubject: Supreme 90 Day: Chest and Back + Star Trainers Abs, Kendall Hogan'sTo: exercisevideos Date: Monday, February 28, 2011, 8:38 AM I really enjoyed my first Supreme 90 Day workout! Guest guest
I'm following the schedule that comes with the set.The workout itself *is* around 30 minutes, maybe a tad more, but there's a warmup and cooldown with each one, making it more like 50 minutes or so, maybe 45ish. For 20 bux you can't go wrong with these. Great job ! Are you following the S90D plan or just doing one workout a day until you've done all of them? I ordered this set and should get it soon. Guest guest
I think for $20 it's a steal- $2 per dvd, and it's getting rave reviews. I've only done Chest and Back but on S90D's Facebook page people are raving about Tabata Inferno, that it kicks butt! I get to do that one on Thursday. I ordered the extra ab dvd - hope it comes soon! I also hope he comes out with more of these - give Tony and Beachbody both a run for their money!  collage will be carrying these as well. Guest guest
i really hope this is a new trend in sets. even if it was $60 and under that would be great! don't get me wrong i love the beachbody sets but if i didn't get them in trades or win them (TurboFire), i probably wouldn't buy them b/c of the sticker prices. Guest guest
yeah it was during the summer. the coach's website seems to be down now but brandee thompson was her name. she did a workout challenge on WOWY and i won the set. i am glad i picked it but i can't do the program as is. the strength workouts just don't give me enough. going to modify a rotation for it in the near future. Guest guest
I feel the same way about the strength workouts, I'm not nuts about Stretch 40 either, though Stretch 10 is nice. The Fire and HIIT workouts though are GREAT!!!! Love them! Guest guest
I haven't really thought about the comparison to P90X and the price differences though I was aware of them. I was looking at P90X again yesterday, figuring out how much I have in Amazon credits and how much more I have access to and that I could get it for free right now (a BeachBody version, not bootlegged, just fulfilled by Amazon) if I wanted to (and then I'd have no more Amazon credits) but it was late at night and I knew better than to order it then (that I might regret it in the morning). Now I'm thinking I might just splurge on S90 sometime instead (yes, $20 is still a splurge for me when it comes to non-essentials). Though I do want a copy of KenpoX and PlyoX, I really liked those workouts a lot, I could probably get them separately. I'm not sure I "need" most of the others in P90X, especially if I could get a similar program for a lot less money. Thanks for giving me more to think about. Tom Holland is soooooooooo much more agreeable an instructor to me than Tony Horton, and the workout was SOLID! I am looking forward to Ultimate Ball tomorrow. One of the background exercisers, Sally, is ripped. WOW. extended warmup after the one that is the same every time:15 bicycles12 " human x " on each side12 " twists " in a plank each siderepeat one more time15 arm circles each way circuit 1 (always doing 8-12 reps as time allows)pushupsdumbell bent over rows - 15'srepeat two more timescircuit 2chest presses - 15'ssingle arm overhead pullover - 12's - need to go down next time repeat two more times circuit 3decline pushups on a stability ballprone presses on the ball - 8's - need to go down next timerepeat 2 more timescircuit 4 uppercuts with dumbells across chest - 12'sdeadlifts - 20's - need to go up next timerepeat 2 more times circuit 5chest flys on the ball - 15'supper back extension on the ball with bodyweightrepeat 2 more timescircuit 6dumbell pushup, row left, row right - 12'srepeat one more time The warmup and cooldown are generic and used for all workouts in the series. I did additional core work with Star Trainers' Abs, Kendall Hogan's segment. It was just okay.. Of the 4 of 5 I've done I still like Rob Glick's section the best. Here's to a new week of workouts!
