Hi Benno,

GLUCURONIC ACID has been a questionable item in all other Kombucha

circles to my knowledge since 1995. Everybody mentions it but all the lab

tests I've been exposed to, (not my own) in my research proves no

real measurable amounts of GLUCURONIC ACID in Kombucha Tea.

If you would be so kind as to post all the verified lab tests of your

very own

fermentation experiments it would sure help to put to rest all the

negative rumors and comments about this being a scam. (The

unsubstantiated

claims of large enough amounts of GLUCURONIC ACID

in Kombucha Tea to be beneficial to the human liver.)

This alone, I think, would help us to help others help themselves with

their

natural health-building programs. Verified lab tests versus

unsubstantiated word of mouth claims have been known to change the

minds and hearts

of intelligent, deep thinking people. (I'm thinking of large, broad-based

audiences such as 20/20, 60 " , Dateline, etc..)

Benno, you are in a unique position (being in Canada perhaps) to be

able to

accomplish what we in the U.S. cannot. (think FDA) :) And of course

the fact

that you own the lab reports is helpful too.

Best wishes, neb

Hi Neb, Benno and EveryOne,

Yes, the presence of Glucuronic Acid along with many other things

suchas usnic acid and lactic acid, said to be in Kombucha is very much

in debate.

Mike Roussin found no Glucuronic Acid in all of the samples from

various Kombucha brewers that he tested with the latest equipment.

Others have claimed the presence of Glucuronic Acid in the past but to

my knowledge no one has the lab reports to prove it. I too, would very

much like to see such reports.

Peace, Love and Harmony,

Bev
