Guest guest
Hi , Sometimes I notice that the newbies' intro letters are posted by you, and then re-posted later by the newbies themselves. This seems redundant to me. Perhaps if you could tell them that you are going to be posting their letter to the group for them, it would take care of that situation. Also, since some of them are missing their intros and welcomes because of the slowness of Yahoo hooking them up to the group, then maybe I would suggest you waiting, oh I dunno, maybe 3 or 4 days before you post their intro? That way, it would for sure allow them to see their intro and welcomes. Just a suggestion, :-) On Aug 19, 2004, at 5:24 AM, RawDairy wrote: > Message: 22 > Date: Thu, 19 Aug 2004 09:05:58 -0000 > > Subject: Re: For Naomi missing her welcome > > >> Dear Naomi, >> Sometimes there's a lag between people joining and them getting >> their messages. Guest guest
Hi Sara, I've observed the much the same thing, and totally agree with my spunky little(?) milk maiden sister, whose suggestions I would take with a glass of raw milk anyday. ;-) Tonio Hi ,Sometimes I notice that the newbies' intro letters are posted by you, and then re-posted later by the newbies themselves. Guest guest
Oh ya, I understand! I totally do! Then in that case, I think Janet's suggestion of letting them post it themselves makes a lot of sense, since then for sure they will be hooked up. They'll see their own intro and be able to read their own welcomes as well... Guest guest
Oh also Sara, I haven't thought of a good signature yet. But I will keep thinking. As far as the Jersey...well we were close, but our land deal fell through. So we still don;t have a farm...but we are still working on it. Will let you know LOUDLY (you know me) when I do finally have success at it, one way or another...
