Guest guest
Kari- That is great to hear about Gracie's fast improvement! You'll have a graduation post before you know it Just let her sleep. Always let sleeping babies lie (unless they need to be respoitioned!). I did that a couple of times. Just clean the band in the morning! You can switch to no mail if the messages are flooding your inbox. I just check them all at the site. I can switch you over if you want! Guest guest
Kari: I wouldn't worry about taking it off - this will make up for her escape time out of wearing it! LOL...I also forgot to take Abby's off a couple different times, shows you just how used to it us parents get. WOW, it sounds like she's had remarkable improvement already! You got her in it just in time for this growth spurt. I'm very happy to hear this Get us some pics to look at asap Debbie Abbys' mom DOCGrad MI --- In Plagiocephaly , " Koskela " <jkoskela@n...> wrote: > ok, i feel like such a dork. Of course i am the one who felt so guilty when i forgot to put it back on her one night and i woke her up at 2am to put it back on. > > On a less confused note, there was concern that shw would need 2 bands since her plagio was so severe. But after only being banded since 12/19/02, I dont think she will need one, in fact i would say she has already had at least 80% correction and she still has lots of room in the band to grow. Of course thats just my estimation. I am going to ask at Gracie's next adjustment on the 23d how much percentage wise she thinks G has improved. Her head looks so good though. her facial assymetry is gone, her ears are just slightly off, when they were really uneven before, she has just a little bit of crooked jaw. This girl has just blown me away! I cant wait to get more pics to post so you can all see what i mean. > > Sorry I dont post very much, i get all the messages in my inbox and get much reassurance and support and inspiration from just reading all of them. > > Kari, mom to Gracie-DOCBand escape artist, banded since 12/02. > North Carolina

Guest guest
My husband is taken me to court for custody over my 15 and 14 yrs old. His base was because I have CMT and can not taken care of the children properly. The thing is I have been on disability for 4 yrs now and have taken care of my children on my own since we were seperated over 8 yrs ago. My question is ...can he really used that against me? Isn't there an discrimination for him to do that? Nuwee
Guest guest
Hi Roxanne, Thank you for the advice.I do taken good care of the kids.I understand the only reason he will ever get custody over the children now is to fight dirty.I just have to tell myself that I have done my best and having CMT is not a choice...is just happens. My children know what he is doing and even confronted him about how wrong it is for him to try to degrading me.
