Guest guest
I have the opportunity to try a secretin injection for the first time in years for my son . I think it helped him speak more naturally when he was younger. He is 13 now. I also have chance to try a glutathione shot, which he has never had before but is ok with the gel from Uriel and Coastal. Are there downsides to doing these injections? I cannot afford to see a huge regression happen after all the hard work he has done to come so far. If anyone could comment on this I would appreciate thr help. Guest guest
Secretin only helps 25% of kids under 4, with a dwindling per cent of success as they get older. I would be very surprized if secretin helped a 13 year old, and would certainly like to hear it if you do it and it does help. All our kids seem to need more glutathione, and most who get IV GSH seem to benefit by it, but of course, NOT ALL! The fact that he tolerates the TD shows it is highly unlikely to have a negative effect.
