Guest guest
Yes, h2o, sure sounds like PA. I say it feels like I am walking on small river rocks and my toes no longer bend. I hope you get better news and that your doc is on top of it. Let us know. Cheri :-))
Guest guest
To find comfortable shoes in all sorts of sizes, look at this website. I buy a lot of shoes and foot products from them and they have a great selection of products and prices. Hope this helps someone. I have terrible pain in the ball of my feet when I walk and they have a shoe insert that is supposed to help with that. JANET
Guest guest
Hello everyone. Need some insight here. I have had this symptom for at least a year or more and was wondering if it was connected to CMT or not. When I read in bed I lay with my knees bent, but after a few minutes the bottom of my feet really start to hurt and burn. It is very painful. Even after I put my legs flat the feet continue to hurt for some time afterwards. I seem to always feel the need to bend the knees due to discomfort in the lower back. Thanks, Teri PA
Guest guest
Hi Teri, I have similar symptoms with my hands when I sleep. I think it has to do with pinched nerves in my shoulder, as there are just a few positions (my favorites, of course) that cause an onset of numbness, and then a burning in my hands that cannot be ignored. I've found a number of yoga stretches that help relieve the symptoms, and can tell when I don't do them. Perhaps you can put a pillow under your knees to take the stress off your back, and put less bend in your knees. Whenever I have a problem, I try to find a stretch that makes it hurt, and then add that to my routine. J O
Guest guest
is it plantar fasciiitis you have? chris > > Hi Sheila > Many months ago you sent me a message explaining how bad your feet used to be and then you used natural thyroid and pains went. My feet are still bad and I have now gone onto natural thyroid. I know everyones body acts different but can you tell me roughly how long it took before you noticed your feet started to feel somewhat better. best wishes June >
Guest guest
Hi Junehave you had a diagnosis for your foot pain? I thought I would reply as I had very very painful feet, including painful heels which got somewhat better on taking levothyroxine. eventually the other foot pain, more across the rest of my soles was diagnosed as early stages of peripheral neuropathy - Im not diabetic so I searched and eventually found that gluten sensitivity can cause neuropathy. this has now been established as a gluten sensitivity affecting my nervous system and I have to follow a gluten free diet but my feet are massively improved.just something else to consider rather than just putting it down to thyroid - as it could be something else - in my case the gluten sensitivity is the cause of my hypothyroidism.best wishes,Gill Many months ago you sent me a message explaining how bad your feet used to be and then you used natural thyroid and pains went.
