Guest guest
Hi!!Today was Firm Express TurboCharge Sculpt - I liked this one - some different exercises, some kettlebell inspired. A lot of stuff done in a forward bending/leaning position, though which is not great for my back. I did ok with it today but need to remember to be very vigilant about good form with this one. Too much forward bending/leaning = trouble! Overall, though I found this one to be easier than the Accelerate workout. I think they designed it this way - sort of as an almost "active" recovery type phase. I am proud of myself that I did all the push-ups on my toes (this one does have quite a few sets of them!) and I even did the push-up variation with one leg raised on my toes. I'm definately getting stronger from these workouts and have definately improved my endurance. I think my physical appearance results would be better if my eating were better - I'm still having a hard time in that area - I really think it is still "winter time comfort food mentality" time! After the FIRM I did Exhale Core Fusion Body Sculpt - all the segments except abs. I can't do "barre-style" ab work - it freaks my back out too much. All I have to say is "whew" - barre work is tough, tough, tough. The stretch felt nice though. My hip flexor (right) is feeling twingey. A year or so ago I strained it and it was one of the more painful injuries I ever had, so I'm going to try to be careful with it. Will definately add something with the Pilates side series on tomorrow - that it what I used often when I injured it last time to help it heal. Not sure what i'll do for cardio tomorrow if it is still feeling twingey, though. Walking, running and stepping are probably not good choices. I may end up on the bike again.Hope everyone has a good day! Donna

Guest guest
Thanks! It is feeling better - I haven't ordered or purchased S90 yet. I'm really trying to be "good" and stick to my challenge of not buying anything until April 1st. But, if I do get a Bed & Bath coupon in the mail and see it there, I will pick it up. I am good through most of March w/ my Firm Rotation, so it isn't like I "need" it immediately. I think it will be a nice follow-up to my FIRM rotation though. Also thinking of maybe rotating it w/ P90X halfsies. I can't bring myself to do the full-length P90X workouts. I'm addicted to short workouts these days!
