God bless you during this time and I have faith that God will intervien with this condition. Sherri had one of the worst A-V Canals that had been repaired 14 years ago at the time of her repair. All the physicians were not very positive about a "good" outcome. It was very difficult and touch and go for a couple of years, but hse has recovered now. And I know it was only by God's most wonderful grace that she is with us today. Guest guest Posted June 7, 2001 Report Share Posted June 7, 2001 Gail, I am just now receiving this E-Mail and I want you to know that I will immediately put on the 5 prayer chains that I have access to through my church as well as the churches and prayer study groups of my large family. I will fervently and sincerely have your whole family in prayer often. Please keep us all updated on how she is. God says, "if you only have faith the size of a mustard seed you can say to that mountain Move, and nothing shall be impossible to those who believe!" I want you to know that I BELIEVE that God can do what doctors are not so sure about. Jonas, our 7 month old was born with two holes in his heart, the ASD and VSD. The doc said that there was "No physical possibility of either of the holes closing without open heart surgery", and just a couple of weeks ago they decided to postpone the surgery which was slated for this summer because the VSD is completely gone and healed! Now we wait for God to have the time He needs to heal the ASD. I wish I were right there to give you a hug, but I am sending healing thoughts to you just the same. Hang in there! She was inhospital last week for a cardiac catheter test and unfortunately thenews was very bad. She has a large aneurysm of the sinuses ofvalsalva which is probably due to her S-G syndrome. She has alreadyhad 2 open heart surgeries and she's only 5. Her cardiologist saysthat he will talk to the surgeons to see if they could do anything tohelp her but he thinks it will be very risky and difficult. Thediameter of the artery is 9 cm and it should be less than 3 cm so itcould give way at any time which would almost certainly be fatal.Her heart muscle is working well so we have not given up hope. Weknow that Dr Craig her cardiologist will do everything to give her achance as he knows she is our life. Sorry to be so depressing foreveryone.
