Guest guest
This is very much off-topic, yet it might be relevant to some others. As a very tired and aging mother (sigh), I have a real interest in the so-called CACI facial, which uses electric current to contract and tighten facial muscles. God bless anything non-invasive and which doesn't require re-mortgaging the house to help me look and feel fresher! BUT you all may be about to jump all over me for thinking of using a current on my face with amalgam fillings. Do any of you know if the current releases mercury? I've tried a Google search, with no results, and I've never heard that it does, but there's tons I don't know in life. I'd really appreciate anyone's knowledge or likely guesses on this. Many thanks, Abbie

I've read this a number of times, and the non-amalgam dentist I went to also said that he would not put gold in my mouth, even temporarily, with amalgam next to it. (I was getting a new gold crown and half done with getting amalgams replaced). Now, I do NOT understand about metals and currents, so, for all I know the current with your CACI facial may be " different " . I would not know. good wishes, Moria
