We started with twice each week then went down to once per week. We saw improvement, but then hit a plateau. We then started doing every day and wow, what a difference. My son took a big jump in development and language. And thankfully, finally potty trained. Yay! After about 2.5 months on daily injections, he became overactive. We went down to every third day which he has been on for a long time and it seems to be the right dosage for him (almost 6 years). My son has made a lot of gains in the past year and I think the mb12 has played a big role. It totally amazes me that he can now write his name and is beginning to read. Guest guest
Hi..Dr. M had us start with twice a week. Then I increased it to daily and now do every other day. We see huge gains from these shots. I had NEVER given a shot and had no one to practice on so I just jumped in and did it. The second one I gave I tried doing it while he was asleep and it was so easy. And I am doing this with two diapers on him and pj's to contend with and unzipping a crib tent and hanging over the crib! If I am able to do it, anyone can! I am the least likely one to give a shot. I am just glad that no one can see this every other night! Good luck.. it is not hard.. I always still dread it but then it goes so easily. Keep us posted! > Hi > > Our docotr, Dr. Layton in MD, just prescribed B12 shots for our son. > is 3. We are to give one shot every 3 days for the next 3 > months. Guest guest
Thanks for the replies and input. I hope to start tomorrow. I know I can do it, but it really helps to hear positive results! Guest guest
I just wanted to mention to be careful if you are getting the B12 from regular pharmacies. Some have aluminim, some do not. When we first got a RX for the B12 I got it at an Eckerd Drug and when I got it home read the really fine print to see it. > > > Our docotr, Dr. Layton in MD, just prescribed B12 shots for our > son. > > > is 3.
