Guest guest
Dr McCandless and fellow parents: I would like to try using EMLA cream or patch in order to be able to give my 5 y.o. son B-12 shots while he's sleeping. He is a light sleeper and is terrified of getting shots. He has benefited greatly last summer from B-12 shots but he wants nothing to do with shots. Does the EMLA cream get absorbed and increase the toxic burden? If anyone has used this approach and can share their experience I would be very grateful to hear from you. Any other suggestions on how I might be able to get methylcobalamin in him? Thank you, Andrei in SLC
