Dear ers,

I feel a need to post this " warning " again. The two individuals

listed above in the subject line are NOT qualified or " licensed " to

male " braces for CMT Patients " , even though their website has a

quote from a message there. These men are cons, I have

received countless calls and emails about them, " braces " they sold

as 'strictly for CMT', and money taken from individuals without

giving a product in return. They operate out of the San

Diego/Escondido area, in Southern California. About 7 years ago they

were hawking braces for CMT persons based on an 'old model' used on

persons with Polio.

Please be careful when finding orthotists who " promise "

braces " perfect for CMT " or other words alike in their sales

pitches. Key word is SALES.

If you need to find a Board Certified Orthotist, go to

http://www.abcop.org/ and in the search box put your zip code, or

email me, I can contact my orthotist Stefan at Swiss Balance and

perhaps find you an orthotist in your area (assuming Stefan knows

everyone, lol!)

Lastly, please make sure your Orthotist is certified; there are

strict standards, educational qualifications, for Orthotists, just

like Docs and Lawyers. Ask your Orthotist questions about his/her

background. Be smart, be savy. Your feet and legs will thank you.
