Guest guest
, Is there a possibility of corrective surgery for ? AFOs at thirteen sucks on so many different planes. Once you commit to wearing them you've made a final decision. Thirteen is really young for finality. Perhaps is one of those who wants to tough it out until there are no more alternatives. I wore corrective shoes from before I could walk until I started school. I really hated those damn things. My first pair of normal shoes was heaven, getting my first pair of Red Ball Jets at 7 was just too cool for words. There are two schools of though concerning CMT one is to let the doctors take over, the other to fight it to the bitter end with as little aid as possible. Really can't say which method is better, only the individual can make that decision. Ed
