Guest guest
Yes, , that's it! " Plaques " is what Astrid must have been looking for. (I never read a German text on Alzheimer's, but 'plaques' has often been used in the English literature, as far as I can remember.) Aha!!! -- I just checked 'Drusen' in my Pschyrembel: *2.* (engl.: Alzheimer's plaques) - (neuropathol.) senile Plaques etc. etc. Ursula ----- Original Message ----- I also checked an old neurology book (1976): Plaques und massenhaft Alzheimer-Fibrillen. The " bodies " may be " Plaques " . Die Riesengliazellen are Drusen.
