Guest guest
Hi Bruce and Tony R. Thanks so much for the info. I already knew this much about how it came about, Tony, but just wasn't sure how to respond...just feeling inadequate in my knowledge about it all. Prions is a whle new language for me...I will be reading up on the whole thing though thanks to the links from Bruce and another friend in Wisconsin. In fact, I may even give this lady a call back when I feel more prepared to talk at length about it. I am certain that both of my cow milk sources do not use any thing of the sort (dried blood, carcasses, parts, etc, ) but I will be making it a point to ask again, just in case I missed something. This is just a little too gross for me! Blech!!! [ Cawbanalism - way too gross folks! And way too scary. BTW, I agree with Tony's point in a reply to another member here that newbies may be feeling a little uneasy at being duped my the gov and the public lies about foods in general, so that we ought to be careful what we say and how we say it. For instance, this topic is definitely OT, but very informative IMHO. ~Wren still educating the masses --- and myself, as needed --- and it's always needed!! 100% against cowbanalism [ Oh, give me a home where the pasture fed cows roam...... <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Mad cow is transmitted by feeding remnants of cow carcasses to other cows. This is why it is important to check out your source for Raw Milk. This fact is what got me started on the whole raw dairy, grassfed, organic, non-processed food kick. There are a lot more wrongs other than this cowabalism going on in the food industry.Tony R.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.. Dairy products in large part come from cows and this is a serious disease. Whatever its cause it appears it may affect a great number of the cows being milked in the US and Canada. Guest guest
You're certainly right on that Bruce. I stand corrected!
