Guest guest
i just wrote one too. i did edit it a few times. I tend to get very ......um...emotional , then i tone it down, the down, then down, until it's acceptable. (my best friend taught me that, lol) I'm sorry anyone was so pig headed enough to write something like that. We are all so behind you. And would defend you to anyone, anytime. Guest guest
I wrote one as well. Lets keep them coming! It would really be a shame if any parent in need was discouraged by the spotlight review to not buy Dr. McCandless' book because one reader says, " I would suggest for parents that are trying to cope as well as learn about autism, energy is better spent reading books with a more uplifting and inspiring tone instead of this - which left a taste in my mouth of what I did wrong and such a strict regimine of " dealing " with this disorder. This is a hard read if you are a parent of a handicapped child seeking information in a sensitive, uplifting fashion. " Lynne
