Summer School - No behavior supports

DS's school is trying to get me to agree to a social skills\equestrian program for ESY this summer instead of an academic summer school because they say that they will not have behavioral supports at the academic summer school. I say DS is so far behind that he needs all the academic help he can get over social skills help.

Also, if I have to work and cannot drop him off or pick up from summer school, how can I get bus transportation to and from summer day care?

I'd really appreciate the help!
