Our DAN doctor also recommended this and we are about to begin using it. I

don't know much about it but I do know of another parent using it.

I had never heard of it either...made me curious.

Here's some info.

Tabit™ is an herbal preparation indicated for the treatment of

diarrheal diseases: acute or chronic diarrhea, constipation, lower

intestinal cramps, flatulence or related disorders.

Tabit™ is also recommended for general GI tract health, especially

when it is compromised by fungal, yeast or bacterial infestation.

Tabit™ contains a powerful tannin: the extracts of wild rhubarb root

or Canaigre. It is complexed with Zinc and with proline and

hydroxyproline amino acids.

Tabit™ is available to adults and children above 4 years of age. Long

term therapies not recommended for diarrhea symptoms lasting more

than 3 days. A more serious condition may be the cause of the

diarrhea, and medical attention should be sought. Possible

Applications: Diarrhea, dysentery, flatulence, constipation, IBS,

Chron's disease.
