Guest guest
I just had my transplant done at Columbia Presbyterian NYC on 11/4 had a bought with slight rejection but med adjustment corrected that. Came home 11/13 and it has been 5 weeks last Friday. last Thursday shoed a second slight increase in enzymes they had hit normal rand. Did biopsy yesterday no sign of rejection or major C attack so I am continuing along next biopsy 3-4 months. I also had HCC had it chemoembalized in October. had 2 tumors each a little over 2 CM. Had Hep C since 1967 prior to transplant cirrhosis was a 4/3 and over the years had 2 attempts with interferon/reb with no clearance. I am one very thankful guy this Holiday and have a whole different perspective on life now I enjoy watching a cat run around the yard I look forward to participating on this site Merry Christmas to all (I understand it is legal again this year to say that) and Happy Holiday season to all

Guest guest
Here are some websites that some might find informative. From transplant week newsletter; a list of transplant centers to include the number of transplants. (based on '01 data) but still a good guide. Site offers other useful information if you choose to browse around. http://www.transplantweek.org/members/Guide/Liver.htm A website that offers information to pediatric liver transplant centers. (What I think is most unfair, is that children suffer too.) http://www.classkids.org/library/ref/txcenters.htm Liver transplant information for people who belong to the Regence Insurance Group in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington: http://www.regence.com/trgmedpol/transplant/tra05.html VA National Hepatitis C Website. (If you would like me to post more Veterans Benefits information please let me know.) http://www.hepatitis.va.gov/vahep?page=prin-con-hcv Information on the Liver and End Stage Liver Failure http://rnbob.tripod.com/liverfailure.htm Living with liver disease: http://www.hepfi.org/living/liv_living.html MaC
