To Dan Canale: Hello, hope you are having wonderful holidays!

I just received my official copy of Naomi's Chromosome Study from

Yale Hospital, and wanted to update you from back in November when

you asked what type of translocation Naomi had... According to this

report, " of a total of 47 cells scored, 32 cells appeared normal and

15 cells contained one normal chromosome 21 and an isochromosome for

the long arm of 21. Thus, this individual has a population of cells

containing three copies of the long arm of chromosome 21. "

I'm not sure if that's exactly the same as your son Luca's (by the

way, loved the pictures of him, he's so cute!), they described it as

i(21)(q10).

Anyhow, happy holidays, to you and everyone on this wonderful

list!

Nathalie (mommy of (5 1/2), Naomi (33 mos, MDS), Anne (9 mos)
