Guest guest
Dear all, I have to deliver in about 2 hours, but I still don't know how to translate the words between ***. Here is the context: The optimal PTCA balloon catheter dedicated to all types of lesions - Optimal down-sized catheter shaft. - ***Full sized range.*** - Distal tapered balloon tip. - ***Dual wing hub for easy gripping.*** Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Dear Gitta, First, I do a lot of catheter translation, but these particular terms are new to me, even though I think I understand what is meant. But since it is urgent, here are my suggestions. Maybe someone else can help more. I believe the " full-sized range " refers to the fact that all sizes of guide-wires and balloons can be accommodated, in spite of the fact the catheter shaft is down-sized; in other words, the outside diameter is reduced, but the lumen is full-sized. I have not seen a standard expression for this before. I might use " Kompatibel mit allen Standardgrößen " A hub is usually the " Ansatzstück " , I assume the wings are two tabs for grasping. I honestly can't tell you whether " Flügel " would be used; it might, if the hub has a wing nut. Maybe " Griffverlängerungen " or " Griffstellen " might do. Sorry to not be able to help more.
