Guest guest
Kate: My experience has shown that the small guys like 3 yr olds do better with starting at half the recommended dose and work up as you see the response. Please read chapter seven of my book before you start. Personally I am starting all the little guys with TTFD as it is gentle and steady (unless mercury toxicity is sky high). It does not aggravate yeast the way DMSA (Chemet, Succimer) does. I also never try to collect 24 hours of urine - it is not necessary and almost impossible. It is important to read CSB carefully and maybe twice before starting chelation, and if you can get your doctor to do so, that's even better. I don't mean to criticize your doctor; you are lucky to even find someone who is open about these things. I also never start chelation until gut healing is stabilized and they are on all the nutrients and minerals they need not to get depleted. Dr. JM Succimer for chelation? Dr. M. and others, please Hi My sons doctor prescribed " Succimer " for chelation. Is this typical? He is 3 years old and weighs 32 lbs. She is not a DAN! doc but very open about it. I was expecting DMSA, though, and don't know what to do. She wants to give " Succimer " 100 mg tabs once every 8 hours for 3 days and collect 24 hours of urine during the 2nd to 3rd day. AAAAAAAAAaAHHHHHHHHHHHH. I feel so torn. I know he needs to chelate. Thanks Kate D.
Guest guest
I always start with TTFD and continue it along with DMSA if I feel it is still needed. I don't know where central PA is, but there is a wonderful doc who trained with me and is also a homeopathist (as well as an MD), Prociuk, , docremedy@.... His patients rave about him. Guest guest
Dr. McCandless Thank you for your reply. I have talked to her and she said 50 mg every 4 hours is fine with her. Also, I did reread Chapter 7 and my husband read it as well. I'm wondering now if we should try TTFD first. I am just so worried about lost time. Do you, or anyone, know where to purchase TTFD? Also, I'm wondering if we should find a more experienced Doctor who may wish to have do the B12/TTFD/GSH trio. DOes anyone here on the list know someone any where near central PA (Lancaster County)? Thanks Kate D. > > Kate: My experience has shown that the small guys like 3 yr olds do better with starting at half the recommended dose and work up as you see the response.
