Hello: I have a friend with newly diagnosed PDD/NOS child who is 2.5

years old. Her doctor perscribed at their first meeting juiceplus

and going casin free. That's it for now. I have heard of juiceplus

but don't recall the info. Could anyone tell me anything? They are

not yet " online " and I promised to ask about it and this is one of

the lists that I always feel conveys accurate info. I found their

website but could not tell from the ingredients if this product

would feed yeast.

I also wondered from those who have seen DAN! doctors if they

customarily order tests at the initial meeting if the child is not

yet on any diet plan. We were already on a diet when we were seen so

I was not sure what was standard practice or if it varies between

physicians/practioners.

Thanks for any info and sorry for the slightly OT question.

My 2 cents.....

Juice Plus is one of the multi-level products. It's some fruits and

veggies.

Personally, I would go to www.healthysprinkles.com and get some

dyhydrated real fruits and veggies if my child would not eat any.

OR...grind fresh fruits (limiting to pears/raspberries/blueberries)

and veggies (limiting the high carb./sugar ones) and add them to

foods that the child will eat.

You parents money is too tight and too hard to come by to waste it on

things like this. To me, these are just too much $$$ for what they

are.

Most DAN dr's order testing at initial visit.

I would go gf/cf or look at SCD.

Thanks Ann.. that is what I thought but wanted to ask to be sure. We

are SCD and have had good luck.. I'll pass this along when they ask.

Have a blessed week!

We ordered juice plus gummies when we were gfcf because my daughter

won't eat veggies. Then we went scd and dropped them because there

is sugar in them. I think they are a decent product and if you have

a very picky child they certainly can't hurt. Sort of like

insurance. They are a bit pricey. I did check and they are gluten

free. Terri
